The Diva is Downtown

A diva I must be. The man blowing the
outside dining area paused the blower as I walk by.

My first stop is Shelly’s Shoes. It’s a heavenly place with shoes, jewelry and more. There is nothing like the smell of plastic, leather and glue. I must move on to my next destination.

Oh my, it’s Murphy-Pitard Jewelry. You know the saying,” A diamond is a girl’s best friend.”
The sparkle, the shine; I must escape. Most items here are costly but the dreams are free
to take. “Could you wrap that one up for me?”

I’m exhausted and tired of walking. It is hard being a diva. I’ll just have to call my driver…”Driver, I’m ready for you to pick me up, I’ll be at the Corner Café.”
