Cody

My mom told me just other day,"Sonya,I saw Mrs. Jackson today. She told me again just how much she loves you. She was almost in tears as she gave the latest report on Cody."

Mom told me that Cody was a smart, intelligent, and strong officer
in the United States Air Force.
His mom told Mother again how Cody would have never made it through school without me.She talked about how I was his lifeline, there at the moment in time that he needed someone to encourage and lead him through the gaps between his understanding and the knowledge and skills needed to be academically successful.

I had tutored Cody for two summers. When I first met Cody , he was an eight year old who lacked confidence and the needed knowledge for reading and math. His first grade teacher didn't have much confidence in Cody either. She had suggested that Cody repeat 1st grade.

I have learned that you never know when you will become someone's lifeline.I do know how important it is that you are ready.
